Last Epoch Enhances Minions Significantly in Season 3

Last Epoch’s got this thing where minions are getting a new trick called Assassinate mode. And it’s coming soon, like next season soon. The devs shared this nugget of info on the forum. Who uses forums anymore? I guess game fans do. 🤔

Oh, right, the game itself — Last Epoch hit the stage in ’24. Time travel, dungeon adventures, and all sorts of character stuff. Five classes — if I’m remembering that right. And seasons — they’re on Season 2 now, with cool names like “Tombs of the Erased” that make you wonder about what came before. Season 3’s just around the corner with some juicy updates.

Assassinate mode is where your minions go after the big baddies, not just any random enemy in sight. It’s like they’ve got a taste for drama now. Protect mode is still a thing too, for those who don’t want their minions wandering too far. Two swords icon for the killer vibe — a shield if you’re keeping them close. I find icons a bit confusing sometimes, but that’s just me.

So, minions get smarter, or at least more focused. Beastmaster’s pets are getting jazzed up too — hello, new nodes for the Raptor, Scorpion, and Bear. Like anyone needed more reasons to ferret around offline, now you can deck out your characters in Offline Mode. Finally. Pretty sure lots of players were itching for that.

Season 3 kicks off on August 21. And yeah, merchants are in for some changes too. Filters, tokens — shopping upgrades for all you bargain hunters. The devs are trying to spice things up for everyone. Sounds fair?
