So, here’s the scoop, which is kind of funny because it feels like we’re getting spoilers for gamescom 2025, but hey, who am I to judge? The crew over at inZOI just can’t stop spilling the beans. Just before the big show kicks off, they made another drop about, guess what, an upcoming DLC. Cool, right? Well, today, Krafton and the life sim peeps decided it’s time for PlayStation 5 users to join the fun. Or at least plan for it.
Now they throw a curveball, like, “Hey, we’re gonna be at gamescom!” Which is nice and all, but feels like maybe there’s some sneaky secret reveal they’re keeping hush-hush. Or not. Anyway — wait, where was I? Oh, yeah. With the PS5 announcement, they basically just said, “Yup, we’ve got a port coming.” Not exactly groundbreaking stuff, but hey, it’s something.
Now, if you’re wondering about when it’s hitting the shelves, well, don’t hold your breath. We’re looking at sometime in early 2026. Apparently, they aim to recreate the console vibe, super optimized and everything. They’re tinkering with the controls, trying to make those work with a controller, which sounds tricky but necessary. Performance? They’re on it. The whole thing’s promising.
Check out this screenshot—sorry, photo op of the game on PS5. I swear, it looks like someone snapped it right from their TV screen. Classic.
Just a heads-up, the game’s chilling in Steam Early Access right now. Krafton hasn’t exactly dished on whether the PS5 launch will strut in Early Access fashion too. PlayStation ain’t big on those, so who knows—maybe we’ll get the full package both on PC and console at the same time.
Oh, and if you’re like, “Where else can I play inZOI?” Well, get this: it’s hitting Mac OS super soon, like August 20, which is practically yesterday in announcement time. Plus, there’s the Island Getaway DLC dropping alongside. If you’re hunting for the lowdown (or cheats because who isn’t these days?), there’s a whole list waiting for you. Go ahead, dive in.
