Oh man, where do I even start with this one? It’s like, okay, there’s this new VR game called Forefront, and it’s supposed to be like Battlefield but, you know, in VR. Picture this: full-on chaos with 16 vs. 16 battles. Vehicles? Yeah, they’re throwing in tanks, helicopters, jeeps, the whole shebang. I mean, I haven’t played it. Yet. But it’s definitely aiming to be wild.
So this game is by Triangle Factory. Those folks who made Breachers. Honestly, if they nail the gunplay like last time, we might be in for a treat. But hey, I’ve been wrong before (like that time I thought laser tag was cool).
Get this though, they just dropped an open alpha. Out of nowhere. Bam! No heads up, just there you go. Play it, break it, tell us what’s up. It’s only live for a day now and again between August 15-17. So if you’re interested, maybe hop over to their Discord. Discord’s like the go-to place these days, isn’t it?
Anyway, it’ll be on Quest and Steam. Quest 2, 3, 3S—apparently there’s more Quests than I realized. But yeah, sounds ambitious. Huge battles in VR? Maybe it’s the future. Or maybe I’m just dreaming. Who can tell?
