Sure thing, let’s dive right into it.

So, here’s a thing I stumbled upon—Resolute Games. Yeah, they kicked off this whole crowdfunding campaign for some VRMMO game, you know, Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist. Late last month, if I’m not losing track of time, they crossed a whopping $100k. Not bad, right? Seems like the cash is still rolling in.
This all started back on June 24th. Their big idea? To breathe new life into some old-school fun from a now-defunct VR MMO. Orbus VR, ever heard of it? I used to play it a ton. Anyway, some ex-players decided to whip this stuff up. Kinda nostalgic, I suppose.
Here’s the funny bit—they hit their minimum funding of $25,000 in just 1.5 hours. A blink! Maybe the goal was set low, considering all the super fancy features they want to pack into the game. I mean, magical powers and guilds and crafting—oh my!
Before they got this train chugging along, Lynn M. Souza—yeah, she’s the big boss—had some plans. Wanted to mimic Zenith’s launch strategy, or something like that. Essentially, grab a quick win and snowball it into something gigantic. Sneaky, huh?
And get this, they unveiled some stretch goals. Bonfires for healing, throwing elements around like a pro, even adding a new species. It’s wild. And they’re thinking of giving pets some kind of superhero powers when—if, rather—they hit $125,000. Not just cute fluffies—actual companions. Imagine that!
Oh, and almost forgot, you’ll need a Quest 3 or SteamVR headset to dive into Eldramoor when it launches, which won’t be until 2026. Ages, right? They’ve got till July 24th to wrap up this campaign. If you’re curious (and who wouldn’t be by now?), check out the Kickstarter.
