Yup, you probably guessed what the G stands for. Didn’t think I’d start like that, did you? Anyway, onto the chaos…
Alright, so we’re diving headfirst into a pile of emails today because, honestly, they’re piling up like laundry on a teenager’s floor. James bailed on us this week—slacker!—which means Jon’s taking the reins. I’m not saying things get wild when he’s in charge, but, well, let’s just say it’s not dull.
So there I was, listening to Jon ramble about his wild ride at GameStop. Can you believe they still have Pro Memberships? I thought those were as extinct as the dodo. Yet here we are, deep in the saga of Jon’s gaming nostalgia. Should’ve seen him light up talking about the games he’d love to see jazzed up for Switch 2. Can’t blame him, though. Who wouldn’t want a glossy reboot?
Then, bam, we’re onto F-Zero GX, and oh boy, that game is unforgiving. Like, seriously, it’s like a paper cut that keeps reopening. If you haven’t mastered the tracks, just stop kidding yourself. Really, “Git Gud” might as well be “Git Gui’d”! And another thing—are we ever gonna see new stuff popping up on the virtual console? Nintendo’s got some thinking to do there.
Okay, sidebar: Imagine a modern Princess Peach game. I’m just saying—someone needs to dust off that series. Give it a new spin or something. Peach deserves more than just being a damsel.
Anyway, no—where was I? Right, so Guillaume’s in charge of the editing, making sure we don’t sound like we’re underwater. And, oh, Perry Burkum crafted our theme tune—props to him for summing up our chaos in music. Plus, check out Connor Strickland, the mastermind behind our logo.
Aaaaand to wrap it all up, Greg picked “Birdman” from Pilotwings 64 for the juice at the end. Catchy tune, gotta say. Nintendo knows their stuff.
