Okay, so here’s an update on Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition hitting the Nintendo Switch. Yep, you heard it right—finally coming to consoles. And, well, it’ll be available next month. I can’t believe it took this long! Anyway, it’s Aspyr bringing this to us. They’re basically adding a ton of upgrades — think enhanced gameplay, better textures, you know, the works. Oh, and the expansions like Mask of the Betrayer are included. Didn’t see that coming!
It’s got crossplay, which is kinda cool — up to four players? Sweet. They’re saying it keeps all the stuff folks loved about the original. Fingers crossed.
So, what’s in store? A quick rundown: You’ve got the whole saga here. In Mask of the Betrayer, you’re dealing with a hunger thing (creepy, huh?). Storm of Zehir throws you into the jungle, and, well, Mysteries of Westgate sounds like a wild ride. All the expansions are included. Did I mention that already? Probably.
Oh, and Steam Workshop is here. Community stuff galore. Download new adventures and whatnot. I wonder what crazy mods people will come up with.
Big deal for console players — new controls and all. Switch between controller and mouse-keyboard. That’s nifty.
So, mark your calendars: July 15, 2025, it drops on the Nintendo eShop globally. Should be fun to see how it all plays out, right?
