inZOI’s First DLC Introduces a New Summer Vacation City, Free for All Players in Less Than Two Weeks

Whoa, okay, so here’s the deal with life sim inZOI and this new DLC thing they’ve got going on. It’s called Island Getaway (I know, exotic, right?), and turns out, Krafton decided to spill the beans early. Free for everyone who already owns the game, by the way. Nice touch, Krafton.

Oh, and did I mention? It’s finally hitting Mac! But, anyway, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

So, August 20 is when Island Getaway drops. That’s right after a big reveal planned at gamescom, which I guess they’ve semi-ruined by letting us in on it now. Surprise, but not quite.

You’ve got this new map, Cahaya. Think tropical vibes—like, imagine sipping coconut water on sandy beaches—and bam, you’re there! Two islands, Southeast Asian flavor. You can swim, snorkel—live the dream, really.

And clothing. Like, a wardrobe level up. Tropical outfits, hairstyles, the works. Farming’s part of the deal, too—because why not plant some tomatoes in paradise?

Jumping around here, but there’s a huge update tagging along with Island Getaway. New stuff like farming and mining (who knew digging could be fun?), and finally, we’re getting electric scooters. Who needs walking, anyway?

Character stuff is getting jazzed up, too. New interaction mechanics, like thought bubbles, random gatherings. I’m imagining these spontaneous street parties with Zois—or not, but it could happen.

Plus, the whole game’s getting tweaks. UI upgrades, a massive 90 new tracks, and—get this—gamepad support. We’re in the testing phase, but it’s something!

And yeah, last but not least, Mac users rejoice! August 20, circle the date. Available on Steam and the App Store.
