Alright, let’s see, this week’s Xbox launch lineup. It’s like a buffet of gaming goodness — so many flavors. Anyway, here we go…
EA SPORTS™ College Football 26 Deluxe Edition – Launch coming whether you’re ready or not. $89.99 gets you in early—whatever that means. It’s all about the college glory? Legacy building? Personally, I spent more time picking jerseys than anything else. But that’s just me. July 7 to get a head start, with the official kickoff on July 10. Yay, football! Or not.
Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 3 + 4 – Digital Deluxe Edition – Okay, so this one’s got, like, bells and whistles. Skateboarding nostalgia meets new era, right? Activision’s on this one, so you’re getting your $70 worth. Ratings seem decent enough, if that matters. Kickflipping to digital shelves soon-ish.
Missile Command Delta – July 8, it drops. High stakes, missiles, Atari vibes. Oh, and anxiety-laden strategy bits. Played a demo once and it made my palms sweat. Seriously, who thinks it’s relaxing to dodge pixelated missiles? But here we are, strategizing doom one missile at a time.
Somber Echoes – Another one for July 8. This Metroidvania’s got acrobatics—or something? It’s set in space, which sounds cool. I just picture flipping around like some kind of space ninja. Secrets, upgrades, existential dread maybe? Who knows. Try not to break stuff.
The Last Camp – Apocalyptic themes, on July 8. My favorite, said no one ever. Shoot and loot in this high-def shooter game. Funny how "doomsday" and "weapon systems" kind of become irrelevant if gameplay doesn’t click with you.
Ah, Love! Season 2 – Another July 8. Swap blocks, match hearts, avoid heartbreak (or is it spikes?). You’re helping hearts date now. Who even comes up with this stuff? Somebody’s getting paid to make sure hearts meet. Life goals, I guess.
Minami Lane – July 9, assemble and manage! Cozy street vibes, Japanese-inspired—all about making villagers happy—because video game people have feelings too. Play this, get to relax with tanukis and cats, allegedly—and who doesn’t like cats?
Rogue Raccoon – July 9 brings more mischief and… museums? It’s a raccoon heist, basically. Steal food, dodge lasers. Not gonna lie, I’m sold. Anything with raccoons and chaos is a win. Get ready, or not. Your raccoon life’s calling.
Holdfast: Nations At War – Clashing from all sides on July 9. Napoleonic era meets WW1, like, why not? Historical chaos with 150 players battling it out. Land or sea; it’s your metaphorical battlefield. Shoes not included.
Tiny Pixels Vol. 2: Stormy Knights – July 9, medieval questing. Hold your joystick, knights saving princesses in pixel style! There’s something charming about pixels, you know? Like watching a retro movie, minus bad sound effects. Your pixelated future awaits!
Greedland – July 10, you’re a one-person alien-obliterating machine. I read somewhere that it’s about more than 20,000 enemies. Sounds exhausting, to be honest. There’s some co-op going on—so bring a friend, or don’t.
Islanders: New Shores – July 10, think city-building but on islands? It’s minimalist and relaxing. Picture laying under a palm tree while your city grows. Maybe you’re drinking coconut water. The reality is probably less glamorous but one can dream.
Bad End Theater – July 10, the title says it all. Choose your character, make choices, lose—repeat. All paths lead to not-so-great endings. Kind of a metaphor for life some days, huh? At least you can toggle things… like life choices, no wait…
Best Served Cold – July 10, mixing cocktails in a speakeasy filled with possible killers. What could go wrong? There’s an allure to solving crimes whilst serving drinks. A potential résumé booster, maybe? Prohibition just got interesting.
Choice of Life: Wild Islands – July 10, stranded on an island. Survive the storm, evolve, whatever it takes. Think Robinson Crusoe but with cards. That ship’s wall really, REALLY took some hits.
Bendy and the Dark Revival – July 11, horror returns! Dive deep into ink-stained nightmares. Survive, solve stuff, and avoid the creepy Ink Demon. Trust me, it’s way creepier than it sounds. Get your bravery pants on.
Only Up To Space – For July 11, climb to the stars. Try not to plummet to your doom. Cosmic platforming isn’t for the faint of heart. Patience and skill sometimes go hand in hand, you know.
Aquapark IO – Slide races, July 11. Cruise down water slides and shove friends out of the way—waterpark-style. Power-ups, multiplayer chaos. Bring your virtual swimsuit, because it’s about to get wet.
Canine – July 11, a gritty horror with a side of retro charm. You’re searching for your dog—dark experiments are afoot. It’s got ’90s vibes, and a touch of horror sweetness. Poor Tomy didn’t sign up for this.
Griffin – Rescue mission in a tank, July 11—you’re arguing with resignation that something personal drove you to it—a touch of family drama with military pizzazz. Follow the granddaughter into battle, who’s not a psychiatrist Zen but fights as one.
Island Trouble – Finishing strong on July 11. Mysteries on islands, resource gathering—you’re connecting dots and revealing secrets. Every choice counts, every strategy counts – but you’re also hoping the wind doesn’t pick up too badly.
And… well, that’s it. Who knew one week could pack such video game punch? It’s a delightful mess of pixels, nostalgia, and random battle cries. Which one’s calling your name?
