Alright, so here’s the scoop. There was this PS5 game everyone was hyped about, right? It’s called Judas and it’s from the guy who did BioShock, Ken Levine. Was supposed to be out ages ago but—surprise, surprise—nothing. Total radio silence from Ghost Story Games or Take-Two. Weird, right?
Judas was, if I remember, supposed to hit PS5 by March 2025. But, like, here we are. Zip. Back in early ’23, this guy Strauss Zelnick, the Take-Two CEO, was all like, “Yeah, it’s happening by 2025 for sure.” Felt pretty solid when he said it to IGN—maybe a bit too sure? Who knows. Guess even the best-laid plans can go sideways.
Oh, and speaking of delays, they just dropped the bomb that GTA 6 isn’t coming until May 2026 now. But Judas? Not even a peep. Makes you wonder if it’s just… poof, gone.
A year before all this, Jason Schreier from Bloomberg threw some shade, saying Judas was stuck in “development hell.” Sources pointed fingers at Levine’s leadership. Something about burnout? Man, sounds rough. You hear Schreier’s reports and start to wonder—will Judas ever actually… exist? Feels like vaporware at this point.
Just me rambling, I guess. But, yeah, hard not to think it’s lost in the mix somewhere.
