Nintendo Releases for November 28, 2024 – Update

Last week snuck in a couple of releases we didn’t have on our radar. Life is Strange: Double Exposure was released digitally, and Taito’s boxing game, Final Blow, made its debut in the archives.

Typically, around Thanksgiving, we anticipate a lull in NoA new drops. Yet, recent weeks have proven otherwise, surprising us with more than 20 releases. This time, the spotlight shines on the English version of Riviera: The Promised Land, a strategy RPG that’s perfect for some solo play when family time gets overwhelming. That said, I’m also eager to check out Steam Prison: Beyond the Steam, which, unlike its predecessor, won’t set you back a hefty $65 since it’s a fandisc. Nine Sols is generating quite the chatter among enthusiasts, and the Wholesome Direct introduces us to Critter Cafe. Don’t overlook Broken Reality either; it seems to have the potential to be a hidden gem.

This week in retro gaming news, we have Snow Bros. Wonderland bringing a fresh twist to the classic stage-based action game. The Epyx Sports Collection will have you reliving the glory (and frustration) of Hacky Sack. Plus, the EggConsole’s shooter titled The Scheme is available, and thankfully, you can enjoy it without needing to understand Japanese.
