New Major Story DLC for Frontiers of Pandora Released

For those holding a Season Pass for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the Secrets of the Spires DLC is now available, adding a fresh set of achievements, a new map, story campaign, and more. As the latest story DLC lands, it marks an intriguing chapter in the post-launch content for the game. It’s exciting to speculate whether these enhancements will give it a solid standing among the top open-world games on Xbox.

Released after a brief delay, Secrets of the Spires is the second story expansion for Season Pass holders of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. This update introduces five new Xbox achievements and requires about 17.5GB of storage on Xbox Series X|S. The standout features include a brand new area named the Spires of the Clouded Forest, along with fresh skills, gear, and a story campaign. Players have the flexibility to dive straight into the Secrets of the Spires content, bypassing the main game if they wish.

The Secrets of the Spires DLC brings with it expanded gameplay through new environments and challenges. You’ll traverse diverse biomes such as Tangled Peaks, Splintered Arches, and Warrior’s Rise while deepening your bond with your ikran. Anticipate encountering new aerial threats and refining your skills to tackle these challenges. Moreover, you’ll interact with new flora and wildlife, discovering novel methods of gathering and traversal.

Significant updates include new ikran skills unlockable with skill points across all platforms, like Ikran Smash and Launch. PlayStation 5 Pro users can rejoice with improvements like a 60 FPS Quality Mode and an upgraded internal resolution for enhanced graphics and performance. Though there is a temporary fix in place for those playing on Windows 11 experiencing performance issues, Ubisoft is actively working on a full resolution. Initially, aerial combat showed its rough edges, so there’s hope this new DLC sharpens our ikran’s aerial prowess, making flying more thrilling than ever.
