Survival game Dysmantle, wow — over two million copies flying off the virtual shelves. Can you believe it? Yeah, me neither. The folks at 10tons spilled the beans about hitting this big number. They’ve been at it for, what, 40-plus months since the big 1.0 launch back in November 2021. Before that? A whole year in Early Access. It’s like the game had a baby life before its real life on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, iOS, and Android. Gotta cover all bases, right?
Honestly, I didn’t find a list of which platform bagged how many sold copies — kind of curious, but oh well. Anyway, to mark this mega moment, they’re popping out a new physical edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. That’s gotta be exciting for the collectors out there.
Sampo Töyssy, who’s, like, the co-captain of 10tons, shared some feels on this. He pretty much thanked the fans — big love fest. And, get this, they plan to drop the physical edition on June 27th. But here’s the kicker: they’d hoped to bring this to the US, too. Spoiler alert: it’s not happening just yet. Some hiccup or whatever. So, fingers crossed for the US fans.
