Sure, here’s the reimagined version:

So, get this: there’s this game called COLD VR, and I swear, it feels more like an adrenaline shot than anything else. This is out there from ALLWARE and Perp Games, and if you’re into stuff like Superhot, you’re in for a ride. The deal is, they’re rolling out this big update next month called COLD VR: SUB-ZERO Edition. It kinda flips the whole Superhot vibe on its head.
Like, you know in Superhot, time speeds up when you move. Not here. In COLD VR, everything chills out — literally, time slows down when you move. Have to admit, it’s like playing chess when you’re hopped on too much coffee. Or maybe that’s just me? Who knows.
And yeah, came out in February, but the first major update (mark your calendar for June 2nd, or don’t, I won’t mind) throws in five fresh levels for Quest and PC VR. It’s like they took the old version, and sprinkled some magic on top.
Oh, and apparently there’s a new main campaign. I guess they’re revamping the enemy AI — makes you think maybe they had a heart-to-heart with the code monkeys to make it flow better. More optional Backroom levels too if that’s your jam. Sometimes, I get lost in those… almost forgot what I was doing. Anyway.
Weirdly enough, they’re messing around with the intro and Main Menu. Supposedly, it’s gonna be all spiffy and streamlined so you can jump into action quicker — I like action, don’t you?
They’ve tossed in some cool stuff too, like catching weapons mid-air (thinking I might fail epically at that), and there’s talk of better visuals, room-scale movement, and bHaptics vests. Whatever bHaptics means, sounds techy and awesome though.
Oh, and shoutout to my PSVR 2 pals — your version’s on the horizon. I mean, they say it’s coming soon, so fingers crossed.
Until then, if you haven’t already, you can snag COLD VR on the Horizon Store or over on Steam. Runs about $20… might just blow a few bucks on that instead of something I don’t need.
Why did I even start talking about this? Lost my train of thought. Anyway, check it out if you’re keen!
