Oh man, so here we go with Infinity Nikki again, right? This whole open-world dress-up thing — I mean, is it just me, or does it feel like it dropped out of nowhere last year? Anyway, a new update is dropping this Friday, June 13, and it’s supposedly a big deal. We’re talking new seasonal chapter, bells and whistles. The whole shebang.
So here’s the scoop: they’re calling it the Playful Season, and it basically revamps the in-game city. New outfits, new story, puzzles, minigames — the works. I’m kind of into the idea, but let’s see if it delivers.
Oh, and there’s this bit about Nikki and Momo (who, by the way, turned into fairies or something after screwing around with some cursed fairy apprentice). So now they’re on this quest in a storybook land. Why they’re sticking to helping this random fairy, beats me.
And let’s talk attractions. There’s this sky path where, get this, you can snap pics floating in the air or something. Then a pumpkin ride — it sounds like a rollercoaster meets Jack-o’-lantern. Oh, and the chicken trampoline (I kid you not) that clucks or something when you jump around on it. Yeah, I didn’t believe it either.
But guess what? It’s not just frolicking around. They’ve got these seven maze puzzles. Find petrified animals, unlock the path. It’s like the game’s telling you, “Get your serious gamer cap on,” which is, yeah, unexpected.
And the outfits! Five new ones. A five-star thingy, “Enchanted Encounter” — it makes animals float, apparently. There are a couple four-stars: “Comic-Style Prince” and another involving clouds. Oh, and they’re bringing back some limited-time outfits from before.
Decor-wise, they’ve added a rocking horse you can lounge on — Nikki, not you. And a potion cauldron? Smoke poofs depending on what you throw in. Random, but kind of neat, I guess? Plenty of eye candy, but is it enough? The game’s rocking a “Mostly Negative” on Steam though, so, like, just adding shiny things might not cut it. Mr. Fix-It, anyone?
Anyway, check out the latest codes — somewhere, I guess. I honestly forgot the details. And remember where those crafting materials are hiding — there’s a link for that. Wherever that is.
Yeah, I’m finished rambling now. Enjoy the update if you dare.
