Well, so here I am—grappling, I mean, with these Marvel characters. It’s like, if you put a cosmic rock concert on a comic book page, you’d end up with “Marvel Cosmic Invasion.” Seriously, they’ve got this whole lineup, y’know? Captain America, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, Wolverine—bam! Newbie superheroes joining the scene like they own it.
Have you heard of Beta Ray Bill? Yeah, he’s this alien dude and he’s got this, um, horse-like face, cyber parts, calling him as the Thor you never expected. From some distant place—planet Korbinite or something. Guy’s swinging this hammer called Stormbreaker, smashing things up. But, oh, fun tidbit: he used to wield Mjolnir too. Thumbs up to Walt Simonson, the genius who painted him into existence in “The Mighty Thor No. 337.”
Now, hold on, because Silver Surfer’s rolling in, all flashy with his, uh, Power Cosmic—whatever that means—and his board. Picture him slashing through Annihilus’ space bug army. Wild, right?
Anyway, at San Diego Comic-Con—wait, did I mention this happened there? Yeah, so, Comic-Con, the creators got all chatty about the voice cast for “Marvel Cosmic Invasion.” Who’s voicing who? Not a clue, but sounds epic. This game is set to splash onto Nintendo Switch, PlayStation (Remember when they skipped a number and called it PS5?), Windows PC, the whole shebang—a future backdrop to your gamer marathons. Expect it to drop later this year… or whenever cosmic chaos aligns.
