Exciting news for Age of Empires IV fans! Initially, we unveiled the development of a new DLC for Age IV, but we’ve upped the ante with not one, but two thrilling DLCs set for release in 2025.
We’re diving deep into variant civilizations, building on the feedback from our community. These civilizations capture the diverse strategies and military forces of historical entities, including some much-awaited additions since The Sultans Ascend. On top of new strategies, expect new units, buildings, and even some updated visuals for a refreshed experience. We’re also exploring unique game modes in these DLCs, designed for shorter, repeatable play that will challenge you to refine your skills and strategy.
Eager to know more? The first DLC, Knights of Cross and Rose, is scheduled for release this spring. It promises to introduce players to enticing new gameplay, with solo challenges and historical armies that will test even the most tactical minds.
