Okay, so I was just browsing through this week’s Nintendo eShop update. You know, the one for North America? Yeah, that. They’re tossing out new games for the Nintendo Switch 2. And the good old Nintendo Switch. Plus, there are discounts all over the place. Not the “I-can’t-believe-it” sort of deals, but enough to keep you clicking. I found myself spiraling down a rabbit hole of offers, wondering why I never have enough time for all the games I grab. Typical, right?
Nintendo’s got some sales going on. They’re like, “Hey, check out our deals!” and I’m just here trying to keep up with all the game names that sound like they escaped from a dream I can’t fully remember. Anyway, if you’re curious, their website’s got the full rundown, but do you really need more on your wishlist? I mean, really?
Now, as for what’s actually hitting the eShop this week… it’s a mishmash of everything and nothing. Like, ever heard of “Arcade Archives Ridge Racer”? Probably brings back some memories if you’re into the classics. And “Battle Train.” Uh, keep an eye out for that one on Wednesday, 18 June. Feels like every day has a surprise waiting to leap out.
Oh, and then there’s “Bubble Wizard III Saga.” Kinda rolls off the tongue, right? “BUGDASU”, “Cat Cosmic Puzzle”, and, wait for it, “Clash of Weirdos – Card Carnage.” Sounds like a party. If you’re into meditation, there’s… actually something for that, too. “Can’t Sleep? Meditation, Deep Rest, and Relaxation” is a game, apparently. Who knew?
But the names, man. Names like “Cocktail & Bartender Guide” give me some serious pause. And “Date Everything!” (that’s dropping Tuesday, 17 June by the way) just begs the question – are we talking speed dating or some virtual experience that I’m too old to wrap my head around?
Now, for the Gex Trilogy – available Monday, 16 June. Are people still playing Gex? Guess nostalgia sells.
I stumbled on “Gunma’s Ambition -You and me are Gunma- Reiwa 2nd national census edition” and just, wow. What’s that even about? Who knows. Might have to see it to believe it.
And if you’re feeling the intellectual itch, there’s the “Higgs Boson: Puzzle Collection.” Though, I wonder, is the Higgs Boson really puzzle-worthy? Maybe.
More wild names shower the list like “Legendary Hoplite,” “Mastering Metaphors,” and let’s not forget, “Nightshade Mysteries Eternal Moon Collector’s Edition.” How many editions does a mystery need, really?
Lost on some of these names? Yeah, me too. But curious enough to dive in blindly? Also, yes. Like, what even is “Zoo Merge”? This labyrinth of game titles just brings you in deeper, doesn’t it? Each title is like a little mystery, waiting. Just waiting.
So, that’s your chaotic dose of the eShop world this week. Makes you wonder what next week will throw our way, right?
