Sure thing, here it goes:
—
So, Spike Chunsoft just dropped a bomb (not literally, I hope) that they’re rolling out Shuten Order. And guess what? It’s hitting the digital shelves for Nintendo Switch in Europe and North America. Yeah, digital only. So old-school cartridge fans, sorry!
EXNOA teams up with Tookyo Games, which basically means we’re in for a wild ride. With Kazutaka Kodaka, the genius behind Danganronpa, at the helm, this game is swallowing genres like they’re breakfast cereal—stealth, horror, visual novels. You name it, it’s there. It’s like a gaming smorgasbord.
“168 days till doomsday.” Yeah, that’s where we begin. The world’s going to hell, and along comes a wacky religious group called Shuten Order that’s all “Yay, end of the world!” They’re pretty successful, setting up their little nation or whatever. But plot twist! One day their leader gets bumped off. Who did it? Good question!
Introducing our hero—Rei Shimobe. Brought back to life by something they call “the Power of God.” Sounds fancy, right? But hold up! Rei’s got zero memory, and, oh, just four days to live. Talk about pressure.
Then, bam! Two self-proclaimed angels show up—Himeru’s all chaos and Mikotoru’s the calm, collected type. These guys tell Rei, “Find and whack your murderer in four days, and maybe you’ll get a ‘real’ resurrection.” No pressure, dude.
And guess what? This whole thing’s dropping on the Nintendo eShop like September 5, 2025. Get your wallets ready! Rei Shimobe’s voiced by Mitsuki Saiga—sweet!
Oh, almost forgot—Kishiru Inugami. This Minister of Justice fella. He says weird stuff and just kinda… floats through. Known as the “Ghost White Arbitrator.” Loves legal drugs. Hmm, okay!
There’s Yugen Ushitora too. Runs the Health Ministry and a hospital. Dubbed “Gatekeeper to the Afterlife”—sounds more ominous than it probably is. Apparently loves his little sis. Adorable?
Then there’s the science dude, Teko Ion—not exactly Mr. Personality, but a genius nonetheless. In charge of almost all tech in Shuten. “Prodigy,” they say.
Honoka Kokushikan, our educational wizard. A mysterious character—no face, but lots of ambition. Rumor has it she wants to be the Founder. Just rumors, right?
And Manji Fushicho! She’s got a temper and a title—“Queen of Heretic Hunting.” Fiercely protective of the nation; hates anyone not on board.
Oh, look, the angels. Himeru’s always agitated. Mikotoru’s the calm guide. They keep Rei on track, sorta. But ask him anything serious and he gets all slippery.
Wow, I think that’s everyone. So, get ready for Shuten Order, folks! It’s bound to be a blast. Or, maybe not… who knows?
