June 2025 Rollout: Bonus Classics on PS Plus Premium Now Available

Just a heads-up—a couple of old-school PS1 classics, Myst and Riven, are sneaking their way into PS Plus Premium / Deluxe. It’s all happening during this Days of Play shindig in 2025. Folks chilling in Asian zones, where it’s June 5 at noontime, are already diving into these gems. Others gotta wait till Thursday. Ugh, time zones.

Now, lemme ramble about this—so Myst and Riven, both can be grabbed individually—saw it myself on the Indonesian PS Store. But hey, not sure about the prices for the US gang till they hit refresh tomorrow. crosses fingers

Got a PS5 or PS4? Sweet, ‘cause you can play them there. And man, I’m itching to see some trophy bling. If Myst’s Steam version is anything to go by, maybe—just maybe—we’ll see new trophy love. But who knows?

Myst, back from ‘93, yeah, it’s a trip through the island of Myst. You wander around, and apparently, this book you find unlocks secrets of a family who lived there. And guess what—it doesn’t wrap up the same way for everyone. Your calls, your endings. Wild, right?

Then there’s Riven, which hit us in ‘97. It’s this beautiful, yet kinda messed-up world where you’re constantly like, “What’s going on here?” Secrets everywhere and the plot twists like a hallway mirror maze.

Oh, and if you’re geeking out about specifics—the PS5 and PS4 versions of Riven are old-school point-and-click bonanzas. Seriously, five thousand images and over three hours of full-motion video. That’s a lot of clicking.
