Okay, so here’s the thing. RimWorld somehow found its way back into the Steam Top Ten. Yeah, the Odyssey DLC just dropped, so maybe that’s why? No clue why I noticed this, but hey, it’s now third. Oh, and there’s a 20% discount too—sweet deal or what?
Counter-Strike 2 keeps hanging out at the top like it owns the place. Meanwhile, PUBG: Battlegrounds decided, “Hey, let’s cozy up to second place,” all thanks to this crossover with Aespa—that’s a K-pop group, if you didn’t know. I didn’t. Moving on.
Now, the Steam Deck, which is basically a tiny gaming PC, slipped a couple of spots to fourth. I think. Or was it third? No—wait, fourth. Right ahead of Marvel Rivals from NetEase, which kind of just ziplined up 25 places. Impressive, right? Maybe it’s that new season of stuff they dropped. July 11th was busy, apparently.
Here’s a curveball: Peak, one of those indie games, dropped a few spots to seventh. But seriously, 4.5 million units sold already. Mind-blowing. Destiny 2 made a comeback, sitting pretty at eighth after they unleashed The Edge of Fate expansion on July 15th.
Out comes NetEase again with Naraka: Bladepoint, which is just chilling at ninth. And Dead by Daylight? Yeah, it dropped a couple of places, now rounding up at tenth. Might make you wonder who’s playing what these days, huh?
So, uh, here’s how things shook out for the week ending July 15th. Do with it what you will:
1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
2. PUBG: Battlegrounds, Krafton
3. RimWorld, Ludeon Studios
4. Steam Deck, Valve
5. RimWorld – Odyssey, Ludeon Studios
6. Marvel Rivals, NetEase
7. Peak, Aggro Crab
8. Destiny 2, Bungie
9. Naraka: Bladepoint, NetEase
10. Dead by Daylight, Behaviour Interactive
And that’s it. I think.
